When it comes to the composition and mechanical properties of Stainless Steel 410 Sheets and Plates, these materials are martensitic stainless steels primarily made up of Chromium (11.5–13.5%), with low Carbon (≤0.15%) and trace amounts of Manganese, Silicon, and Nickel. This blend gives them excellent hardenability and mechanical strength. These sheets boast a tensile strength of about 450–700 MPa, a yield strength of around 275 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. The 410 grade offers decent corrosion resistance in mild environments and outstanding wear resistance, making it a great choice for heat-treated and hardened applications. Plus, it holds up well at moderately elevated temperatures.
