Monel K500 coil/slitting coil, is composed primarily of nickel (63-70%), copper (28-34%), and small amounts of aluminium (2-3%) and titanium (0.35-1.0%). This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and durability, particularly in marine and chemical environments. Its mechanical properties include high tensile strength (up to 1200 MPa), good hardness (Rockwell C 30-35), and good fatigue strength, making it suitable for demanding applications requiring strong, corrosion-resistant materials.
