Aluminium 2014 Circles are crafted from a high-strength aluminum alloy that mainly consists of aluminum (90.7–94.7%), copper (3.9–5%), manganese (0.4–1.2%), and silicon (0.5–1.2%), along with trace amounts of magnesium, zinc, and iron. These circles boast excellent machinability, a high tensile strength of about 415 MPa (when heat-treated), and solid fatigue resistance. This alloy provides decent corrosion resistance, performs better when heat-treated, and has increased hardness compared to pure aluminum grades. Its exceptional mechanical properties make it ideal for structural and high-load-bearing applications, particularly where strength and durability are essential.
