Inconel 925 rings are nickel-chromium-iron alloys strengthened with copper and molybdenum additions, offering high acid corrosion resistance, stress corrosion cracking resistance, and high strength. The chemical composition contains around 40% nickel, 20-23% chromium, 3-4% molybdenum, and 2.5-3.5% copper. Inconel 926 is a corresponding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with more molybdenum and niobium content, which provides pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride-rich environments. Both alloys possess good mechanical properties, excellent weldability, and thermal stability.
