Stainless Steel 253Ma Channel is a high-alloy austenitic stainless steel that contains about 21% chromium, 11% nickel, 0.5% molybdenum, along with small amounts of copper and nitrogen to boost its high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. This unique composition gives it excellent resistance to oxidation, scaling, and thermal fatigue at temperatures reaching up to 1,200°C. On the mechanical side, SS 253Ma offers a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, an elongation of 35%, and a maximum Brinell hardness of 217.
